I love shopping!

As my first official blog post, I thought I'd share a few items I purchased from my most recent shopping trip.
I love lipstick, especially matte lipstick. I decided to buy 6 out of the 9 shades available in the Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm. They're super soft and seem really pigmented so I'm really excited to try these on. They retail at £7.99.

The colours here from left to right are; Showy, Audacious, Striking, Shameless, Elusive and Sultry. I had also seen the Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm, but they didn't appeal to me as much as these, simply because I love Matte. <3

I also purchased another lipstick from Topshop, their new range of lipsticks called 'lip bullet. They're also very pigmented, but I did not like the colour range as much as the Revlon Matte Balms. Priced at £8, but with student discount (if you're a student) makes them £7! Some of my favourite lipsticks of all time are from Topshop, so I have high hopes for these! The lip bullets are very similar to the Revlon Matte Balm's, both are retractable, chubby sticks.

This colour is called wine gum, a really really dark colour! There's a selection of 8 colours which you can look at here!

Benefit packaging always gets me! I recently ran out of my MAC cream colour base highlighter which is really good, but I've wanted to try the Watt's Up! for ages. So I finally purchased it, hoping that it's worth it. The MAC cream colour is £15, while the Watt's Up! is £23.50. Eek.

I also hate being oily, who does? So when I saw the Agent Zero Shine, I decided to give it a go. I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in warm ivory at the moment, which is £3.99, but I have to touch up every 2-3 hours with that, so I'm hoping for £24.50, I don't require many touch ups! However, pouring the powder into the lid to use does seem a bit annoying. I just hope it's easier than it sounds.

The last expensive and really really risky products I bought were the Bumble and Bumble thickening shampoo and conditioner, along with the Bumble and Bumble Defrizz.

The shampoo was £18.50, conditioner £20, and the defrizz £22. This was definitely a risk, as I've never tried any Bumble and Bumble products and I'm still on the search for the perfect shampoo! I definitely end up with a frizz-ball on my head, especially with the current shampoos I've been using, so I'm just hoping this tames my frizz, and gives life to my boring hair.

I also bought loads of clothes, but I would be here all day..

  3. Cool purchases! I'm having the same problem as you with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder so it'll be nice to know how you get on with the Benefit Agent Zero Shine. x
